Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday, April 25, 2015, while addressing the Texas Southern University (TSU) strongly condemned the South African Xenophobic attacks when asked what he would do if he were President Jacob Zuma. The ex-president said with total confidence that if he were Jacob Zuma, the issue of Xenophobia would not have arisen.
He also said that if they had, he would have made examples of a few people involved in the act to serve as a strong warning and a deterrent to others. Still speaking, he said “If they cannot accommodate other Africans on their soil, then they don’t deserve to be leaders.”
