A woman who had neither fallopian tubes nor ovaries and had never had a menstrual cycle had broken records after she gave birth to a set of adorable twins.
When she was 19 years old, Hayley Haynes was diagnosed with a rare condition known as androgen insensitivity syndrome which practically means she could never conceive under normal circumstances.
Things however took new turns the 28-year-old Haynes after she had a hormonal treatment where a womb was grown inside of her by some medical experts in Cyprus.
Haynes who was technically a man finally conceived in 2011 with the help of IVF and produced two babies named Avery and Darcey.
The overly happy mother said, ‘When they told me I had no womb, I was so confused I felt sick, my biggest fear was never having children
‘Suddenly a huge piece of my life was missing, I felt like half a woman and was embarrassed.
‘How I was going to tell a guy I was genetically male when I started dating?’
According to Mirror UK, in 2007 doctors were able to find a minuscule womb, not picked up in previous scans.
They were told she had a 60 per cent chance of getting pregnant using an egg donor.
Recalling her fears about the IVF treatment which she said she and her husband,Sam had just one shot, Haynes said, ‘I was so nervous. We only had one shot and couldn’t afford to go through it all again
‘I desperately wanted to be a mother and knew if there were no viable eggs or the implantation wasn’t successful, I’d be distraught.’
She said, ‘Becoming a mother was the single most amazing moment of my life.
‘When I held the babies in my arms for the first time, I was overwhelmed.
