A woman was shocked to the marrows when she woke up to discover a man sexually assaulting her.
In her bid to get a self defence, the woman from Pennsylvania allegedly hit the man with frying pan, leaving him with a black eye and a swollen eye socket.
The police published a mugshot of the rapist identified as 33-year-old Anthony Prestopine of Sharon, and later arrested him on a charge of rape.
According to the police, the woman had Prestopine to her home for drinks but was shocked to wake up in the middle of the night to see him forcefully having sex with her.
According to WWWN, the woman demanded that Prestopine leave her home. When he refused, she struck him with the frying pan several times, police said.
