A mother is set to stand trial for murder after 2 corpses, purportedly those of her new born babies were found in a kitchen freezer.
According to a report by Mirror UK, both babies were wrapped in plastic and discovered after a random clean up by her husband, with one of the baby allegedly refrigerated for at least 1 year and 6 months.
Police asserted that both infants were born alive, though one drowned while the other died of asphyxiation.
The woman who hails from Seville in Spain was simply identified as Sara L.H and in her mid 30’s said both babies were still-born and she hid the pregnancies from her husband because he would frown at having more children, adding that she could not bear to throw them in the bin, hence her decision to put the bodies in the freezer as she could not part with them.
As at the time of her arrest November 2013, she was 8-months pregnant and no one realized. She has since delivered a baby girl who now lives with her husband along with her 2 other teenage children.
Her trial begins in Spain this week with the prosecution asking for 40 years in prison for premeditated murder but the defence says the babies died naturally.
