A break-up between lesbian lover’s led to the death of a young girl.
The incident began when a woman was allegedly mad after her relationship fell apart.
She took revenge by killing her lover’s 2-year-old daughter and hurting her son.
Kimberly Lucas, 40, of Palm Beach, Florida, was “the other mother.” She raised her partner’s two children since their birth. Lucas was together with her lover for the past 21 years.
However, when her partner decided to break up, Lucas took out her anger on the kids and attempted to kill them before attempting suicide.
Lucas is being held without bail after she was accused of killing Elliana Lucas-Jamaso and attempting to kill the girl’s 10-year-old brother.
According to the Jupiter Police Department, Lucas drugged the boy and herself, but when the girl refused to take the pills, Lucas placed her inside a bathtub full of water.
The 10 year old called police after he found his sister had drowned in the water. The boy told police that after taking the pills he felt drowsy, and later when he woke up he went looking for his sister.
He found the bathroom door locked so he took a knife and busted the door open. He found his sister in the bathtub. He performed CPR before calling police. Sadly, he was unable to save his sister.
