‘I wish I had paid her off’: Disgraced Basketball Team Owner Donald Sterling Breaks His Silence

Disgraced owner of basketball team LA Clippers and billionaire Donald Sterling has finally broken his silence since the audio recording of him making shocking racists comments were made public.

Speaking to a Los Angele’s Dujour Magazine, Sterling said, “I wish I had just paid her off.”

Sterling’s comments which shocked the world and led to him being banned for life from America’s basketball association last week, and being given the maximum fine of $2.5 million were published by TMZ.

Apparently referring to his mixed race girlfriend, V. Stiviano to him he was talking in the audio tapes.

This shows, that Sterling is not sorry about making the racists comments and he appears to have planned a media blitz to tell his own side of the story. According to reports, he has lined up interviews with Barbara Walters and the NBC though he has not released a schedule for these interviews.
