A 39-year-old allegedly stabbed her husband multiple times because he accidentally screamed another woman’s name at the peak of a sexual intercourse.
The woman, Christina Balazi, from Florida, USA has been arrested and charged with attempted murder of her husband, Christopher.
According to Mirror UK, the victim reportedly sustained several injuries following the encounter at their West Palm Beach home.
A report by the police disclosed that Balazi, said to have suffered bipolar disorder, reportedly pulled a sheet over her husband’s head and stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
Christopher explained to cops how his wife of 10 years straddled him and stabbed him in the chest and neck at least seven times and managed managed to wrestle the knife away from his wife and ran outside to get help.
After committing the offence, the woman attempted to flee in her car but was not so lucky as the police engaged her n a brief chase and arrested her thereafter.
Upon interrogation by the police, Balazi admitted to stabbing her husband because he had uttered the name of another woman in bed.
The husband was treated for 7 non-life threatening stab wounds at the St. Mary Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
On her part, Balazi was charged with attempted murder and fleeing and eluding charges.
