The wife of former Bayelsa state speaker, Martha Nestor Binabo has been released by her abductors.
A family source told the Vanguard, that Madam Martha Binabo was, on Saturday 4th July 2015, released to to a negotiator in Buguma, River states.
Madam Binabo who was kidnapped on Monday, June 20, 2015 by armed men in military uniform at Abura on the outskirts of Yenagoa, the state capital was released with a bag of fish and the sum of N18,000.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, said he was yet to be briefed on the development but a family source confirmed her release, saying “she was well taken care of by the kidnappers.”
