A jealous wife died in a car crash while trying to run her husband and his mistress off the road, police in Texas said.
Nancy Acosta of Houston, died after her car crashed into oncoming traffic on Thursday afternoon.
Acosta, a mother of three children, caught her husband Freddy with his mistress at home before the accident.
According to the police investigation, Acosta followed the car of her husband and began to slide sideways while attempting to run him and his mistress off the road.
She died at the scene. The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital, and is said to be in critical condition.
The husband and his mistress were not injured.
