[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ccording to Naij. Com, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (who built Aso Rock) has added his voice to calls that the present administration should tell Nigerians who it wants to pay Aso Rock rent to.
Recall that the 2016 budget has made a 30.8 million Naira provision for what they call “ASO ROCK RENT”.
So I join other Nigerians to ask in bewilderment: Is Aso Rock not the property of Nigeria?
If so, could they please tell us the name of the Landlord of Aso Rock?
Why is this landlord just beginning to collect rent now for the first time since the seat of government was moved to Aso Rock in the nineties?
Is the Aso Rock Landlord just back from the land of the dead?
