It looks like Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters are on overdrive in cheering on President Muhammadu Buhari on Twitter.
Following a weekend campaign, #TyrantBuhari, which cast Buhari has a dictator following his declaration on his first media chat that he would disobey court orders as long as they were against his beliefs. Nigerians used the hashtag to demand Buhari’s resignation.
The opposition, led by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has continued to accuse the President of human rights violations in his handling of trials of former National Security Advisor, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) and pro-Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu.

Monday, APC youth ran a campaign called #FireOnBuhari and then, Tuesday, they took it up a notch with #GoHarderBuhari, in celebration of the news of arrest of Chief Oliseh Metuh, PDP’s spokesman by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The hashtag quickly turned into a source of sexually charged jokes on Twitter.
