A 35-year-old woman has beaten a teacher blue-black in front of the students over claims that she was having sex with her husband.
The enraged woman identified as Laelia Paredes Flores, had stormed the classroom in Huimanguillo, Mexico and descended on the 32-year-old teacher, Marcella Villalpando Tovar, 32, while the students and members of staff watched on.
The incident was eventually recorded by one of the bystanders as Flores dealt heavy kicks and blows on the teacher after suppressing her to the floor.
Unsatisfied with the beatings, the woman jumped on top of the teacher and pulled her hair after which she punched her on the face and asked the ‘whore’ to defend herself.
A student, Miriam Gracia Adomo, 16, who witnessed the incident, “The woman charged in and began shouting and screaming before punching our teacher to the floor.
“That’s when I ran to get help. But when other teachers came they just stood around watching. It was really terrible, terrible.”
The school’s unidentified spokesperson said, “The woman claimed that our teacher was having an affair with the husband of one of the student’s dads and the mother took exception.
‘We are appalled that this attack happened in our school and that nothing was done to stop it, and we shall be carrying out a full investigation.”
