A 19-year-0ld girl, Pratibha Khan had been stoned to death by her 65-year-old father, Jagpal Khan and brother, Pradeep Khan, 36, because she allegedly fell in love with a man from a nearby city outside their tribe.
The man said the girl’s relationship with the man got their family’s name into a mess so they had to clean the mess by stoning her to death.
Police in Uttar Pradesh of India where the incident eventually took place said the man and his son had kidnapped the victim from her home and later stoned and strangled her to death, according to World Wide Weird News.
After committing the heinous crime, they dumped her remains in the fields near her home where her friends later discovered her.
The duo were arrested and charged with murder which they initially denied but later admitted after separate interrogation by the police.
