Matthew Notebaert has been arrested and currently facing charges for Driving Under The Infuence (DUI), manslaughter and vehicular homicide for allegedly killing the mother of his 2 children in Florida.
According to Police reports, the couple were on their way back from a concert and were intoxicated when the accident occurred. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that both had drugs and alcohol in their systems when they crashed.
When the police visited the scene of the incident, it was discovered that the woman was sitting on her husband’s lap and the two were not wearing clothes from the waist down at the time of the accident. Neither of them were wearing seat belts and the two were naked from the waist down. Amanda Notebaert’s died at the spot when she hit her head on the dashboard and the windshield, while Matthew Notebaert’s knees were crushed by the bottom of the dashboard.
While in court, Notebaert wept openly during his appearance as his lawyer told the judge he wanted “to return to their children.” The children are currently with family members.
