Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi has won all social media polls conducted after Friday’s Vice Presidential Debate organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group, NEDG, and the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON.
In separate polls conducted by Kakaaki Social, YNaija, Voice of Nigeria, VON, and Premium Times, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, defeated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Peter Obi was also leading a Facebook poll created by online newspaper Premium Times before it was suddenly deleted from their Facebook page, moments before the end of the poll. The media house did not make any official statement on why it deleted the poll.
The parties and candidates at the Vice Presidential debate were Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Abdulganiyu Galadima; Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya; All Progressives Congress (APC), Yemi Osinbajo; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi and Young Progressives Party (YPP), Umma Getso.
