The first nine holes are very challenging, including the course’s #7 signature hole. The back nine holes are just as challenging, offering three par 5’s, three par 4’s, and three par 3’s. Saving the best for last, the 18th hole has been voted by Avid Golfer as the “Best Finishing Hole in Central Texas.” It’s a 477-yard, par 4 that borders Lake Avery and is truly one of the most scenic spots in the Austin area.
This course is amazingly well-maintained with all greens being doubled-cut every day. Avery Ranch is rated #1 by Avid Golfer for Best Place to Host a Corporate or Charity event. It’s also rated the Best Overall Course, Best Dining, Best Clubhouse, Best par 5’s, Best par 4’s, Best 18th closing hole, and Best Cart Girls. This Daily-Fee Golf Club is one of the premier golf clubs in Texas. The Sunset Grill is a great place to sit and enjoy Happy Hour after a full day of golf. Private lessons are also offered for those of you who would like to improve your game. Tournaments and events are held throughout the year. Teravista Golf Club
As a sister to Avery Ranch, you’ll be able to take advantage of the dual membership. Imagine having a membership to two superb golf courses for one price. Also, take advantage of the single, junior executive and family golf packages.
This 18-hole course was designed by Clifton-Ezell-Clifton with a 7,200 yard challenging layout. The National Golf Course Owners Association awarded this course as the “Beginner Friendly Course.” It’s also a terrific course for experienced golfers too. It has an excellent practice facility, Pro Shop, Players Club, and the Caldwell Café, where you can get breakfast or lunch, and of course Happy Hour.
Teravista’s Players Club is a new membership program designed for your golf game, similar to a Health Club. Need to work on your game? This program allows you to do that based on your schedule. You can also play two rounds of golf and practice is free per month. The practice areas have many chipping, hitting, and pitching areas to improve your game. Weekly clinics are also available, all geared to help you become the best golfer possible. You can book your tee times online or from your Smart Phone. The Membership Program is amazing!
