As earlier reported, the plenary sitting of the Federal House of Representatives on Thursday, June 25, 2015 degenerated into a free-for-all fight as House members threw caution to the wind over the selection of principal officers for the 8th Assembly.

After over an hour of shouting and confusion, the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara reconvened plenary, telling members that they were lucky to be chosen to represent their constituency.
He went on to adjourn sitting until Tuesday, July 21, 2015.
