The Nigerian Military has been at work fighting the battle against insurgency which has disturbed the peace of the nation since the emergence of Boko Haram in 2009.
The fight against terrorism has grown beyond the confines of the Nigerian troops and obviously demanded the collaboration of every citizen of Nigeria to combat.
While the soldiers are on the battlefield, civilians can stay home and do their bit by offering support and encouragement to the soldiers who fight night and day to ensure we have a peaceful country to live in.
A campaign, initiated by the Director for Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade, with the hashtag #VictoryForNigeria is ongoing on social media platform, Twitter.
With #VictoryforNigeria your text can be read by/to our troops who will receive your messages in print like this pic pic.twitter.com/m3DM14DnkJ
