Manchester United Manager, Louis Van Gaal has come out to defend midfielder, Marouane Fellaini after he was alleged to has spat at Sergio Aguero saying the Belgian was only shouting at Sergio Aguero, after the Argentine striker went down after a Fellaini tackle expecting a penalty, a decision the referee was not ready to give.
The incident occurred during a Manchester derby between United and city rivals, Manchester City.
Speaking on the incident, Van Gaal said: “I have heard that it is a question on social media, but already the TV has shown that he is shouting and sometimes when you shout there’s a little bit of saliva [that comes out] with it. I don’t think that he’s a pitting figure.”
City manager Pellegrini also denied knowledge of any wrong doing saying: ‘No, I don’t know about that,’ he said.
