He also called for stronger political leadership in the state while commending all past leaders of the state for their sacrifices and contribution to the development of the state.
“Worthy of commendation are the men and women who have led our state in different capacities in the past. I commend former governors Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Chris Ngige, and Peter Obi for their contributions to advancing the fortunes of our dear state.
“I also salute the great giants from Anambra like Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Professor Dora Akunyili, Chief Osita Osabede, Professor Chinua Achebe, Father Cyprian Michael Tansi, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, Mr. Cyprian Ekwensi, Chief Oliver De Coque, Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojuwku, Professor Chike Obi, and a host of others who left a remarkable legacy in impact, courage, and service to humanity for us to follow,” he ended.
