The apex Urhobo youth body, Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Youth Wing, has congratulated the President-elect Gen. Muhammad Buhari on his victory in the just-concluded elections.
The union in a statement via its spokesperson, Mr. Marcus Ekure, observed that the just concluded polls was the “freest, fairest and most credible election” in the history of the country.
They expressed optimism that the President-elect would do well to walk the talk in line with his manifesto during the campaign.
The union however, lauded the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan for averting violence and accepting defeat just in line with his initial statement that no blood of any Nigerian is worth his political ambition.
They recommended him for a Nobel Laureate award adding that he should also be made a lifetime ambassador of the United Nations and African Union following his rare action after the polls which is worthy of emulation for leaders across the globe.
