Uproar as Prominent Cleric Ibiyeomie Reveals His Wife’s N1 Monthly ‘Feeding’ Budget

Must read

PORT HARCOURT,  Nigeria – Pastor David Ibiyeomie, General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, recently disclosed on Thursday, July 27, 2023, the hefty sum he gives his wife for monthly household expenditures while advising married women on prudence.

During a sermon on familial responsibility and financial discipline, the well-known cleric divulged that he once allocated N600,000 per month for feeding and an additional N500,000 – N600,000 per service.

These amounts, however, have since been revised upwards due to the size of his home and extensive family needs, with his wife now receiving N1 million per month for feeding alone.

“I used to give my wife N600k for feeding a month, then I use[d] to give every service N500 to 600k per service when I gave her N600k per month. Then I shifted to N1 million per month, my house is big,” Ibiyeomie explained.

But far from using this revelation to boast wealth, Pastor Ibiyeomie used the opportunity to advise women, particularly those with well-to-do husbands, to exercise financial prudence.

“All women who are not prudent, please be prudent. Don’t tell me your husband is rich so you waste money. If with all my wealth my wife can use N1 million,” he added.

His comments have provoked discussions about financial management within marriages and gender expectations around spending, topics increasingly under scrutiny in Nigerian society.

As the debates continue, it remains to be seen how Pastor Ibiyeomie’s unique approach to money management might influence the conversations.

2023: ‘Vote the wrong person and dollar will hit N5,000’ – Pastor Ibiyeomie Warns

Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministry has cautioned Nigerians against voting the wrong political party in 2023.

Ibiyeomie warned that the naira would hit to N5,000 per dollar if Nigerians vote the wrong political party or candidate in 2023.

Addressing members of his church in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Ibiyeomie said Nigerians would suffer if they vote the wrong political party.

According to Ibiyeomie: “If you vote party, you will suffer and I will be here. I won’t suffer with you, I know too much to suffer with you.

“I’m talking as a man of God, make the mistake of voting the wrong person and the naira would tumbler to N5,000.

“If you don’t want naira to tumble to N5,000 better tell yourself what to do.

“He said woo to you who vote people with nothing in their head.”
