University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State has appointed Prof. Enefiok Essien as the institution’s new Vice Chancellor.
The appointment was contained in a statement issued by the university and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs Edak Umondak.
The statement, made available in Uyo on Monday, October 19, 2015 noted that the appointment would take effect in December following the end of tenure of the current Vice Chancellor, Prof. Comfort Ekpo.
Essien is a professor of Commercial Law, a 2-time Dean, Faculty of Law & Chairman commttee of Deans.
