Rihanna was at the Barclays Center in New York to watch a basketball game on Friday night January 10th 2014.
Stepping out of the game, the superstar decided to make someone’s day. With snow falling around her, the singer had taken refuge under a large umbrella when a tiny fan noticed her.
The 25-year-old stopped to talk to the young girl, who promptly started crying. Without hesitation the Stay songstress reached out and gave the pint-sized fan an big hug.
As if reenacting the lyrics from her biggest hit Umbrella, RiRi pulled the fan in under the protection of the parasol she was carrying.
The gesture, while simple, clearly meant a lot to the little girl and, not to mention, was also just plain adorable.
