A 60-year-old Nigerian man and father of six who is based in Malaysia, identified only as Epa, escaped blindness by a hair’s breadth after his angry Ugandan girlfriend named Phiona Namatovu, stabbed him in the face during an argument over sex.
Namatovu, who is also known as Aaliyah, is a renowned human trafficker who takes girls from Uganda to the Asian country for prostitution.
It appeared like Epa, had sexual relations with some of the girls without fllowing due procedure.
On learning about it, Namatovu invited him to her apartment and confronted him but he denied the accusation.
However, she went to his home the following day only to catch him having sex with one of the girls.
Out of anger, Aaliyah picked up a sharp object which she intended to use and possibly attack his eye but he was lucky as his face was eventually hit by the object.
The woman was subsequently arrested and is currently detained in the custody of the Malaysian police for attempted murder.
