A 2-year-old toddler had been reported to have shot a woman at Idaho Walmart after picking a concealed gun from a purse and accidentally pulled the trigger, police say.
According to Kootenai County sheriff’s spokesman, Stu Miller, the woman was shopping with several children at the super market, and it’s unclear how they are related. He said they only discovered that the toddler had a purse with him at the time of the shooting.
Wal-mart has also released a statement to confirm the sad incident as KREM reported
“A very sad incident occurred at our store on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, involving the death of a female customer.
“We are fully cooperating with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies as they investigate this matter.” It stated.
Miller also added that the supermarket has been evacuated after the shooting and activities is said to commence on Wednesday, December 31, 2014
The woman is said to have been in her late twenties and was said to be shopping with her four sons.
