Twitter has taken down a fake account impersonating the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega.
The account (@ProfAttahiru) was taken down on request by INEC after it has started spreading rumours that Jega was under pressure to postpone the forthcoming general elections.
“@ProfAttahiru: I’d Rather resign than Postpone Elections.”
