Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, on Monday, May 18, 2015 slumped while given a lecture at the Renaissance Capital’s 6th Annual Pan- African Investor Conference in Lagos State, Sahara Reporters reports.
According to the report, he was rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos State.
The 60-year old pastor was President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate in the 2011 Presidential Election on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), but had lost to President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The cause of the collapse and his current state of health were yet to be determined as at the filing of this report.
