Despite all the interests and reports of bids by Real Madrid, Louis Van Gaal insists goalkeeper, David De Gea will not be sold.
The Manchester United manager has not featured the Spaniard who has been marked as one of Madrid’s major targets this summer in any of the Red Devil’s game this season.
It appears De Gea has also been excommunicated from the United side which will face Newcastle this weekend. Speaking on Friday, Louis Van Gaal dropped the bombshell that the club won’t be selling their best player of last season.
“I think when Manchester United wants a player he shall come, besides when the club is not selling. It is the same with us, when we are not selling De Gea.
“I have said three weeks ago that we shall evaluate it on September 1.”
New signing, Sergio Romero has been the preferred man between the sticks for Manchester United after Victor Valdez also fell out with the manager.
