KANO, Nigeria — In a heartbreaking event that has rocked the quiet village of Gudantile in the Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State, a 25-year-old man met his untimely end in a tragic accident on Monday, May 15, 2023.
The deceased, identified as Umar Kabir, was reportedly found lifeless in a well, prompting an outpouring of grief among the close-knit community.
This information was released by the Public Relations Officer of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, in a statement on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Abdullahi recounted the harrowing sequence of events leading to the discovery of Kabir’s body. “We received an emergency call from Gezawa Local Government fire station at about 02:20 p.m. from Aminu Ibrahim that a man had fallen inside a well,” he said.
