Mr. Nze- kwe Chukwuemeka Barthlomew, a groom to-be was on his way to his wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 9, 2014 when he met with his end instead of meeting his bride.
The 38 year old who was a vulcanizer by profession was being conveyed by his best man on a motorcycle to the church venue in Ekwuluobia, Anambra when they ran into a parked Camry car.
The driver of the Camry unaware of the oncoming high speed motorcycle opened his car door and the groom was hit in the process.
He landed on the tarred road hitting his head against the hard surface and died on the spot while his bestman is currently receiving treatment in the hospital due to minor injuries.
However, the groom’s remains have been deposited in a mortuary.
