An Arab actor left colleagues stunned filming a death scene by collapsing dead in front of the cameras.
Mahmud al-Sawalka, 55, who was famous in the Middle East for his performances, particularly in historical dramas, was filming a death sequence in Jordan capital Amman.
Cast and crew were bewildered when the experienced actor strayed from the script of TV series Blood Brothers.
Al-Sawalka, who specialised in playing Bedouin characters, was supposed to die after being shot, uttering the last words to his screen son: “I want you to bury me with your bare hands.”
But he actually said: “I have the feeling that I’m going to die soon” – before really dying.
The cause of his death is unknown and is currently being investigated.
