In a bid to keep him at White Hart Lane, Tottenham are reportedly readying a new deal which double Harry Kane’s current £35,000-per-week wage.
Tottenham is trying to keep their most essential players by offering them new mouth-watering deals. Already, midfielder Dele Alli has signed a new five-year deal.
Kane’s current contract is valid till 2020 but with increasing interest in the 22-year-old from clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid, it is only wise that Tottenham makes him an improved offer.
Just on Sunday, January 10, 2016, Harry Kane made it clear that he was happy at White Hart Lane but it appears the management of the club are not willing to take chances.
“Yeah, definitely.
“There are always going to be rumours flying around but I’m happy here. The club is in a good shape, we have a great future and I’m raring to go so we will see what happens.
“We have got a lot of young players raring to go who are getting better and better with each game and that is all we have got to do.
“Keep working hard on the training field, we are getting better and more experienced the more we play and I think we can only get better,” Kane explained.
