The way women look, smell, move, and talk are just some of the reasons why we revere them so. As much as we love them though, there are some things that women do that drives us absolutely crazy and makes us want to turn around and run the other way. While there are always exceptions to the rule, here is our list of personal pet peeves about women.
1. Taking duck face selfies
Selfies are okay and they can serve a purpose, like when showing off a new look, a new haircut, etc.. However, seeing self-taken, photos every two hours of women with low self esteem scrunching their faces up (doing the worst of all porno expressions) doesn’t look good at all. Not only does it look like someone injected their lips with with a crap load amount of Botox, it actually drives men away and shows that these women are insecure, require constant amounts of validation, and that their most important quality is their physical attractiveness.
2. Being overly-emotional
The fact that women are usually more delicate and vulnerable is great, but over-emotional outbursts along with a steady stream of tears for every minor setback can be pretty disturbing.
3. Complaining that there are no good men
How many times have we seen women whine and complain about how there is a lack of good men in existence after dealing with terrible jerks who are entirely different than what they claim they want? Yes, terrible men do exist, but in this case, the problem isn’t the men so much as it is a woman’s poor taste and judgment.
4. Expecting men to pay for everything
There are a lot of strong women who go out of their way to show us how independent they are and pay their own way. We’re referring to the women that seem to disappear when it comes time to pick up the check for a dinner, a movie or just about anything else the two of you are undertaking. Most men don’t mind picking up the check early on in a courtship, but after a few dates, it’s nice for a woman to offer to contribute financially–especially if exclusivity has been established.
5. Sending mixed signals
One minute, she acts as if she wants to be with you. The next minute she acts as if she barely knows you. A woman who comes off as hot or cold and gives confusing signals is a woman who won’t find a man who can tolerate her.
6. Using sex as a weapon
One of the most annoying things that a woman can do is deny her man of sexual privileges. Just because she didn’t get what she wanted or because the guy didn’t take her side on something that he believes in doesn’t mean that she should withhold sex!
7. Making an anniversary out of everything
As men, we have a hard enough time getting event dates right without being shouted at for not remembering the anniversary of the first time we saw our girlfriends at the park.
8. Leaving used sanitary products in plain sight
Yes, a woman’s menstrual cycle is a fact of life, but women should make the effort to conceal and dump their used feminine hygiene products in the trash can. Some things are best kept out a guy’s field of vision.
9. Being contentious
Contentious women always want to prove themselves right and the entire world wrong and are always ready to pick a fight. These types of women are very difficult to date much less live with.
10. Having the “Princess Syndrome”
It’s perfectly reasonable for a woman to expect a guy to treat her well, but to go around calling herself a princess and acting like she’s entitled to the good life without feeling any need to lift a finger to achieve it is really annoying and nothing less than narcissistic.
