A former aspirant for the post of chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tom Ikimi has formally announced his withdrawal from the party.
Ever since the national convention of the party which produced Chief John Oyegun as the national chairman, Ikimi has seen his participation in party affairs dwindle.
According to a report by Vanguard Ikimi had to dump his interest in the position after APC national leader and former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu allegedly hand picked Oyegun for the position.
