It was a case of double tragedy as a newly wedded couple died in a fatal car crash in the Gboko area of Benue State just two months after they tied the knots.
According to Idoma Voice, the unfortunate couple who got married on March 6, 2015 and died together on perished on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 following the fatality of the crash along the Mkar-Ameladu road in Gboko local government of the state.
The deceased husband was identified as identified as Timothy Tyo Tersen, a native of Tombo in Buruku local government area, reportedly died on the spot while his wife identified as Erdoo was confirmed dead two days later at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
The burial poster of the deceased duo would definite;y draw tears to any eyes that read it as it was captioned, “Wedded Forever. Lived and gone as young couple.”
To add to the family’s grief, the groom’s father was said to have died a few days after the tragic incident in a separate accident.
The unidentified man was sad to have encountered the mishap that led to his death while he was returning from the burial of one of his in laws.
