A housewife simply identified as Anwulika over the weekend embarrassed her husband in a joint where he normally went to eat fried dog meat in Ogwashi-Uku area of Delta State.
It was gathered that Anwulika had always warned her husband against his constant visit to the spot to eat dog meat.
On that fateful day, the man was said to have gone out to his usual joint to relax as usual but unknown to him, his wife trailed him with a commercial motorcycle popularly known as okada.
According to Leadership reports, the unsuspecting husband, a community-based plumber, had sauntered into the joint when the wife followed him with Okada motorcycle to the joint near Ishiagu community and having ordered for two heavy chunk of the oily, fried meat served with yam and soup.
He started eating his sumptous meal when suddenly, his wife appeared from the blue and created a scene by first confronting the dog meat seller before she faced her husband and landed him a heavy slap which got the meat rolling out of his mouth and to the floor.
Out of sheer anger, the husband gave her a number of heavy blows on the mouth before some passers by came to her rescue.
Anwulika who was apparently behind herself with anger narrated to people who cared to listen that her husband had failed in his duty as a father.
She added that their four children were sent away from school because of their failure to pay up their fees and her husband was busy spending money eating dog meat.
She said, ‘I have not been comfortable with this dog meat my husband has been eating.
‘Each time he eats from this dog meat and makes love to me, he stays more than expected, and I began to be worried over his increasing performances.”
The unidentified man refuted the allegations leveled against him by his wife who he described as a nag and incorrigible woman.’
