Three years ago, professional golfer, Tiger Woods and his Olympic gold medalist, girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn announced the kick off of their celebrity relationship in synchronized Facebook posts.
In the same fashion, the couple on Sunday, May 3, 2015 unannounced the relationship.
A post titled, ‘A Personal Message From Tiger’ posted on Woods’website, Tigerwoods.com announced that “he and Lindsey Vonn have mutually decided to stop dating.”
He said, “I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together.
“She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family. Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It’s difficult to spend time together.”
On the other hand, Vonn, a globally celebrated female skier took to her Facebook wall and wrote, “After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together.
“Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.”

She began dating Wood after his divorce with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, which ended with Woods paying a settlement estimated from $100 million to an astronomical $750 million.
Woods’ divorce was part of an infidelity scandal in which Nordegren found out he was having several affairs with other women.
The scandal came to light after Tiger Woods crashed his SUV into a tree in his driveway on Thanksgiving night 2009 after Nordegren had confronted him about the other women he was seeing.
