A man was arrested on charges of robbery after allegedly robbing a bank by threatening a teller with an adult vibrator, police in Pennsylvania said.
Allegheny County police said that a bomb squad blew up a briefcase and other suspicious items in the car of the suspect who robbed a PNC bank on Monday.
35-year-old Aaron Stein faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, robbery, threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.
In the case, police found an adult vibrator. Stein robbed the PNC Bank in Crafton. He told the teller that he had a bomb, and showed her wires hanging out of his shirt.
He left the bank with a large amount of cash. After arresting the suspect on a highway, officers found the money in a garbage bag below the passenger seat.
They also found a black box, containing the vibrator, wires and a cellphone. The items were detonated as a precaution.
