In 2 Chronicles 1, we read that Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it. On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?” As if that was not enough, the man is seen in chapter 5 again, sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be numbered!
Some people will give just N200 which is now about half a Dollar and they will go about feeling good with themselves, and acting as if God and the church owes them so much!
You cannot get the best of God until you become the type of person whose giving gets His attention! When Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings God appeared to Him; when he gave offerings that could not be numbered, the glory of God filled the temple so much that even the priests couldn’t stand to minister. Wow! Hallelujah!
