Scottish singer, producer and disc-jockey, Calvin Harris is the world’s highest-paid DJ for a second-year running.
This is according to the latest Forbes report, “Electronic Cash Kings 2015”. Calvin is dating pop star, Taylor Swift and that makes the duo the highest-paid celebrity couple in the world.
Grossing about $66 million last year, Calvin almost doubled the earning of the second DJ on the list, David Guetta. Frenchman, David Guetta earned $37 million. Rounding up the top-five list are Dutchman, DJ Tiësto $36 million, U.S DJs; Steve Aoki and Skrillex with $24 million each.
Aside doing good with his albums and singles, Calvin has massive endorsement deals with brands like Giorgio Armani.
Speaking to Forbes about the rise of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), the 31-year old said:
“The rise of dance music has been astronomical… I happened to be in the right place at the right time”
Harris and Taylor Swift topped Forbes Highest-paid celebrity couples list after raking in $146 million between themselves in 2014.
