Must read

HOLLYWOOD, USA – Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and coach on The Voice, faced an emotional moment during Monday night’s Knockout rounds as he made a heartfelt decision about which contestant to send home.

The episode also brought a surprising twist with the unexplained departure of Team Gwen contestant Mor Ilderton.

The Knockouts saw Snoop’s team members ChrisDeo, Mikaela Ayira, and Torre Blake deliver passionate performances in hopes of advancing.

However, the 53-year-old rapper grew visibly emotional as he announced his decision, calling the moment “one of the hardest” of his time on the show.

“I didn’t think I was gonna get this emotional. I love these three girls. Y’all made me proud,” Snoop said, his voice cracking.

“I’m so torn right now because I can’t take all of y’all with me. I’m hurt. And I’m supposed to be strong right now. I’m supposed to make y’all strong. But this is how you affected me. I love each and every one of you.”

Describing his bond with the contestants, Snoop Dogg compared the decision to choosing among his own children.

“It feels like I’m sending two daughters off to college, and one gets to stay home,” he added.

With tears in his eyes, he closed his eyes briefly, raised his arms, and said, “The gangster Holy Ghost don’t ever let me down.”

After a long pause, Snoop announced Mikaela Ayira as the winner of the round.

“Mikaela’s voice is big, and I don’t think she knows how to use it just yet,” he explained in an interview later.

“I feel like the right song, the right production, she could win this whole competition.”

Meanwhile, Monday’s episode also revealed that Team Gwen contestant Mor Ilderton had exited the competition.

No explanation was provided for Ilderton’s sudden departure, leaving fans and fellow contestants speculating about the reason.

The unexpected news came after the earlier departure of Tanner Frick from Team Michael Bublé, who reportedly left to pursue a professional music contract.

As The Voice gears up for the Playoffs, Snoop’s emotional farewell and Ilderton’s unexplained exit have added layers of intrigue to the competition.

For now, Mikaela Ayira advances with Snoop’s vote of confidence, as the remaining contestants prepare to face the next round.
