Stephanie Okereke’s Advocacy Film ‘Dry’ Wins Big At BON Awards #OndoBONAwards2015

Stephanie Okereke’s advocacy film, Dry released  a few months ago and starring veteran actress Liz Benson, William McNamara, Darwin Shaw and Paul Sambo received high praises at the newly opened International Conference Centre, Akure, the Ondo State capital, where this year’s edition of the Best of Nollywood, BON Awards, held amid glitz and glamour.

The advocacy movie based on a true life story won three awards which include, the Award for Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay and Movie with the Best Social message.

Kunle Afolanyan’s October 1 won Best Production Design, Best Actor and Best Costume Awards while Lancelot Imasuen’s Invasion 1897 won awards for the Best Movie of the Year, Best Director and Best Soundtrack.

Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards 2015 was hosted by the Ondo State Government. The International Conference Centre, Akure is the biggest event centre in South West Nigeria. The venue also has a state of the art dome.
