Florida detectives have discovered 50 dead in 4 freezers at the home of a man who they were to serve a warrant for suspected child pornography.
Sheriff’s officials from Palm Beach County said they went to the home of Douglas Westcott to arrest the 55-year old on 3 charges of child pornography only to find about 30 cats running around in the house with about 50 in freezers.
According to a report by News.com, litter boxes in the house were filled to the brim with faeces and urine. Officials say although the cats were somewhat healthy, many of them were suffering from respiratory and skin condition,
Westcott reportedly refused to give up custody of the cats as animal care and control officials removed them from his home. A judge will decide whether he can keep the ats in 30days.
