Every believer has a gift; there’s no one without a gift from God. Even if you weren’t born physically with a gift, you received at least one gift the day you gave your life to Christ. Maybe you never knew; know it today that you are gifted.
It’s not enough to have a gift, or to be excited about your gift; our gifts are to be used within the body of Christ. Just as there’s no unnecessary part of the physical body, there’s no useless or irrelevant member of the body of Christ, the Church, to which you belong.
The church is incomplete without you. You’ve got to understand that. You are as important as the pastor of the church! Don’t feel satisfied with just being a member of church, you must find out how you are supposed to be contributing to the body. Every other member of the church needs you; the world needs you; even God needs you! There’s so much that He wants to do through you: that’s why you have to discover your gift and start using it immediately. Don’t worry about being perfect; the Holy Spirit will handle that.
