If you cannot withstand pressure you will not last. In this life, there will be pressures: they will come to crush you, to make you compromise, to make you quit, and to test you, to see what you are made of and capable of: you must never fail.
Apostle Paul said, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.” II Corinthians 4:8. Pressure is one of the tools of Satan. He pressed Job to the point that his wife asked him to curse God and die! Job did not. Joseph too did not succumb to the pressure of Potiphar’s wife to sleep with her: the Bible says that she spoke to him day by day.
You must refuse to be broken by pressure. Things may not seem to be getting better; don’t let it change you. Problems upon problems; remain unmoved by them. Keep believing. Keep declaring the word of God. Keep praying and fasting. Here’s what will happen: the enemy will give up on you, and you will win! You were made with the ability to withstand pressure; you have the Holy Ghost in you; you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you! Say Amen!
