Matthew 20:6-7 ERV “About five o’clock the man went to the marketplace again. He saw some other people standing there. He asked them, ‘Why did you stand here all day doing nothing?’ “They said, ‘No one gave us a job.’ “The man said to them, ‘Then you can go and work in my vineyard.’”
Unemployment rates are quite high, especially in this country. That’s not to say that we are the worst. According to reports, only about 10% of the millions of people who graduate from our schools annually get jobs. Think about that. The 90% of the graduates who don’t get jobs join the pool of existing job seekers, and the rate just keeps rising!
If you are looking for a job, I pray that God gives you a job that you desire, in Jesus name. Amen. But I need you to understand that God already has jobs for everyone of us! When the owner of the vineyard men the workers seeking jobs, they said to him, “No one gave us a job.” The man said to them, “Then you can go and work in my vineyard.” Understand that in God’s vineyard there’s a job for everyone!
It doesn’t matter what you studied in school, or if you’ve taken professional courses, God has a job for you! And it doesn’t mean preaching, even though that’s not a bad idea, but if you make yourself available to God He will tell you what you can do for Him. Remember that God is the First Employer, He put Adam in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Who knows, God may have prepared a very beautiful garden for you somewhere. I prophesy to you today, that your days of searching for jobs are over, in the name of Jesus!
