God has different ways of helping us: one of the ways He helps us is by sending a person our way. This is very important.
When the Israelites cried out by reason of their bondage, God sent Moses to deliver them; and before the famine that affected the world, God sent Joseph before them. Even before Jesus came, God sent a man to prepare the way for Him. John 1:6 says, “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.” Jesus too was sent: “To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” Acts 3:26
Elijah was sent to the widow of Zarephath, and she enjoyed supernatural provision for three and a half years. Thank God that she recognized and honoured him as a prophet of God. May you not miss your time of visitation, and may God help you to recognize those He has sent to you to help you. Amen.
