The life of a Christian is a life of continuous warfare: that you fought a battle yesterday doesn’t mean that you are free until next year; you may have to fight another battle today! Paul said that “we wrestle”: present continuous tense.
Every Christian has a ministry of intercession; so, the fact that all is well with you, doesn’t mean that you should relax; you must battle on behalf of others, and on behalf of the land. The entire world is under satanic control; we cannot be idle at anytime.
We must always be battle-ready. Look, Satan must be resisted thoroughly, else we would always have something to complain about. Our adversary is always busy: he never rests; he keeps going to and fro seeking someone, and somewhere to devour; and he’s got several agents working for him: the Church of Jesus Christ must not only be battle-ready, we must fight the devil and get rid of him. Victory is sure. Amen.
