Jesus asked the Samaritan woman for water, and while she was busy thinking and talking about His request, He told her that she was focused on her gift instead of what she could have received from Him.
That’s just like most people today: they think about the size of what God is asking them, forgetting that God is able to give them so much more. If God ever asks you for anything, rejoice, because He desires to bless you!
Don’t ever have a wrong attitude to giving. Every time you give you have qualified yourself to receive. “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38. Amen.
